The goldsmiths storehouse [manuscript], 1604?

In two books or sections, each with its "index." Book I: A treatise on the mint in England, with tables and illustrations; Book II: A treatise on precious stones. According to De Ricci and Phillipps, thought to be in the autograph of Sir Richard Martin, goldsmith to Queen Elizabeth and Lord Mayor of London. One of the jurors mentioned on leaves 42v and 45v is Hannibal Gamon, a goldsmith and possibly the author of these treatises. This manuscript differs somewhat from British Library Add. MS 25093, whose first three chapters "by H.G. citizen and goldsmith of London, 1606," are transcribed in "Select tracts ... relating to English weights and measures," Camden miscellany, XV (1929), p. 37-39. A presentation copy dated 1604, is at the Goldsmith's Company.
